- The Wildcats broke through first in the 24th minute to take a 1-0 lead.
- Just two minutes later in the 26th minute, the Huskies were awarded a penalty kick on a handball from UNH in the box. Federico Tellez converted on the PK to tie the game with his third goal of the year.
- Starting out the second half tied 1-1, the Wildcats found the back of the net in the 57th minute to push back out in front 2-1. A surge of UNH possession through the rest of the contest was enough to clinch the victory.
