BROOKLINE, Mass.— In a battle of the two top teams in the CAA, the Northeastern women's soccer team and the Drexel Dragons tied, 2-2, on Thursday evening at Parsons Field.Â

Jessie Hunt tallied her 10
th assist of the season against the Dragons, setting a new single-season program record for the Huskies. Hunt passed Kayla Cappuzzo who set the previous record of nine during the 2017 season.
- Just a minute and 20 seconds into the game, senior Nina Dooley tallied a Huskies goal after clearing up a shot from freshman Vivian Akyirem that hit the post to put Northeastern up 1-0. Each side posted four shots on goal in the first stanza. Â
- Drexel then scored two goals back-to-back in the second half to take a 2-1 lead. Sophomore Megan Putvinski answered the call for the Huskies and tied the game in the 81st minute, putting home a Hunt corner kick.
- Graduate student goalkeeper Holland Stam once again tied her career-high with nine saves.
Up next, Northeastern will host Delaware on Sunday, Oct. 16 at 1 p.m.
