CHARLESTON, S.C. – Senior outside hitter Erica Staunton tallied a team-high 13 kills, but it was not enough as the Northeastern volleyball team (7-9, 4-3 CAA) fell to College of Charleston (8-12, 3-4 CAA) in three sets on Saturday afternoon at TD Arena.

• Staunton also had six digs and two blocks.
• Junior outside hitter Defne Arliel chipped in with eight kills and five digs.
• Graduate student outside hitter Laura Seeger had seven kills on .250 hitting.
• Senior middle blocker Nailah Jenkins notched six kills, two service aces, and two blocks.
• Sophomore setter Jessica Frannea dished out a team-high 34 assists.
• Senior libero Kayla Martin tallied a team-high nine digs and three service aces.
• Charleston outhit Northeastern, .238 to .140.

Northeastern will face Charleston again on Sunday, October 16. First serve is slated for 1 pm, and can be watched on FloVolleyball.
