Men’s Rowing Set to Close Fall Slate at the Foot of the Charles

BOSTON – The Northeastern men's rowing team is set to close out its fall slate at the Foot of the Charles on Friday, November 11. The Foot of the Charles regatta was moved up to Friday due to bad weather in the forecast later in the weekend. The Huskies will have four eights racing against Harvard and Boston University at 7:45 am.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW
  1. LAST TIME AT THE FOOT OF THE CHARLES: In 2021, the Huskies had a first-place finish in the men's four with a course record time of 12:35.37 to beat out Harvard's boats. Northeastern also had a boat compete in the men's eight in which they finished with a time of 12:07.57.
  2. LAST TIME OUT: The Huskies wrapped up a successful weekend at the Head of the Charles regatta on Sunday, October 23. Stroked by graduate student Rhett Burns, Northeastern's first varsity boat had a strong performance in the championship eight, finishing fourth collegiately (sixth overall) with a time of 13:42.881.  The Huskies finished ahead of tough opponents in Washington, Brown, Dartmouth, Princeton, Wisconsin, Boston University and Stanford.
