HARRISONBURG, Va. – Northeastern University (17-17-1, 3-8 CAA) fell to James Madison University (19-15, 6-5 CAA) by a score of 8-1 on Saturday afternoon at Veteran's Memorial Park.

- After a scoreless first for both sides, JMU opened the scoring in the 2nd inning with a solo home run to take a 1-0 lead.
- The Dukes added two more in the third and fourth innings each – the Dukes tallied a home run in each inning.
- An RBI double and two-run home run in the fifth made the score 8-0.
- The Huskies answered back in the sixth inning with an RBI single from Luke Beckstein – he scored Spenser Smith, who reached on an error and stole third base.
- Wyatt Scotti (L, 6-2) went four innings with eight hits and eight runs allowed.
- Jordy Allard pitched the final four innings, allowing just two hits, no walks, and no runs. He struck out four on the afternoon.
