BROOKLINE, Mass.— The Northeastern women's soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision to the Boston College Eagles on Sunday afternoon at Parsons Field. Freshman

Northeastern moves to 1-1 on the season, while the Eagles improve to 2-0.
- Boston College opened the scoring with a goal in the 13th minute. Akyirem knotted the score up for the Huskies at 1-1, claiming her first career goal. Junior Jessie Hunt recorded an assist on the goal, marking her first career point as a Husky.
- Before the end of the first half, the Eagles once again took the lead, 2-1, with a goal in the 42nd minute.
- In the second half, Northeastern was whistled for a foul inside the box. The Eagles then converted from the penalty spot in the 79th minute and followed it up with another tally in the 81st to take a 4-1 lead.
- Goalkeeper Holland Stam, ended the first half with three saves and finished with seven saves overall. Goalkeeper Bianca Resca entered in relief for the Huskies, making her first appearance this season.
The Huskies are back in action at Parsons Field against Rhode Island on Thursday, Aug. 25 at 6 p.m.
