BROOKLINE, Mass.— With three different goal scorers on the night, the Northeastern women's soccer team shutout the Stony Brook Seawolves, 3-0, for its first conference victory of the season.
- Nina Dooley got the scoring started early with her first goal of the season in the 10th minute. Dooley's tally put the Huskies up 1-0 and was assisted by Alexis Legowski.
- Megan Putvinski then scored her first of the season to push the score to 2-0 after tapping home a Jessie Hunt corner kick.
- Jane Kaull closed out the scoring with her first career goal in the 90th minute of action to bring the final score to 3-0. Avery LeVangie assisted Kaull's goal.
- Goalkeeper Holland Stam posted five saves in her sixth cleansheet of the season.Â
The Huskies will return to Parsons Field for a matchup with Hofstra on Sunday, Oct. 2 at 1 p.m.
