HEMPSTEAD, N.Y.— The Northeastern women's soccer team fell to the Hofstra Pride, 1-0, on Sunday afternoon at Hofstra Soccer Stadium.
- Hofstra took a first half lead with a goal from Wiktoria Fronc in the 34th minute. The Pride would hold onto their 1-0 lead for the rest of the match. Â
- Goalkeeper Holland Stam made four saves, including two back-to-back saves in the second half.
- Megan Putvinski led the Huskies with three shots, including one on goal.Â
Northeastern returns home to Parsons Field to host Charleston for its mental health awareness game on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 6 p.m.
