BROOKLINE, Mass. – The Northeastern Huskies (3-5-4) fell to the Bryant Bulldogs (10-1-2) by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday evening at Parsons Field in a game that saw 30 total shots, 16 on target, between the two teams.
- The game saw a total of 14 shots in the opening half, seven for each team, but neither side was able to find the back of the net in the first. NU led in shots on goal 6-4.
- The Bulldogs responded in the second with more offensive pressure but the Huskies responded, blocking four Bryant shots in the second half.
- Bryant was able to break through in the 76th minute on a header off a cross from the left side.
- NU goalkeeper Gregor Shaw finished the game with eight saves, the highest total in his NCAA career. It's the most saves since the opener where he made five against UMass in a 2-2 draw.
Northeastern returns to CAA action this Saturday, October 14 at 7 p.m. as the Huskies head to Monmouth to face the Hawks on FloFC. NU has two conference games remaining, with six conference points (1-2-3 record).
