Huskies Tie Stony Brook, 0-0

BROOKLINE, Mass. – The Northeastern women's soccer team (8-3-5, 6-1-4 CAA) tied the Stony Brook Seawolves (6-5-6, 4-4-4 CAA), on Thursday night at Parsons field with a final score of 0-0.
  • Northeastern held a 9-6 shot advantage despite a 0-0 score at halftime.
  • Both teams traded opportunities in the second half, but neither found the back of the net. The Seawolves had 10 shots compared to eight for the Huskies, but Northeastern goalkeeper Holland Stam made five saves in the frame to keep the score level.
  • Stam posted her fourth straight shutout, with eight saves on the night.
The Huskies will close out the regular season at William & Mary on Sunday, October 22. Kick-off is slated for 12 p.m.
