WILLIAMSBURG, Va.— The Northeastern women's soccer team concluded its regular season with a 2-1 loss at William & Mary on Sunday afternoon. The Huskies will now turn their attention to the CAA Tournament which begins on Thursday, Oct. 26 as the No. 4 seed.
- Northeastern went down 2-0 in the first half after William & Mary scored two goals in the span of five minutes.
- In the second half, Maggie Cochran cut the deficit to 2-1 for the Huskies with her fourth goal of the season in the 54th minute. Jessie Hunt recorded her 10th assist of the season on Cochran's tally.
- The Huskies were unable to find the equalizer and the game ended 2-1 in favor of the Tribe.
- Goalkeeper Holland Stam made one save in 45 minutes of action. Eliza Teplow came on in the second half and recorded one save.
The fourth-seeded Huskies will take on the fifth-seeded Tribe in the CAA Tournament on Thursday, Oct. 26 with the time and location of the game still to be determined.
