- Rutgers tallied two goals in the 80th and 83rd minutes to retake the lead on a shot from the top of the box and a long free kick that was headed over the defense.
- With the game winding down, a cross into the box was punched away by the Rutgers keeper, but Sebastian Restrepo was able to collect it and cross to the right where Fraser Brown tipped the ball in off the back of his head for the final score line of 4-4.
- This is the second game of the season in which Northeastern has tallied four goals.
- Brown's goal was his team-leading fifth of the season – Tellez collects his ninth and tenth assists of the year, putting him up to 27 career helpers, which puts him in third all-time in program history.
