DURHAM, N.H. — The Northeastern men's hockey team fell to the No. 13 New Hampshire Wildcats, 4-0, on Saturday evening in Whittemore Center.
- New Hampshire took a 1-0 lead in the first period after scoring 14:12 into the contest. The Wildcats then doubled their lead in the second period with a tally at the 6:10 mark.
- UNH closed out the game with two more goals in the second period for a 4-0 final.
- Northeastern was unable to get on the scoreboard despite outshooting UNH, 21-19. Sophomore Cam Lund led all players with three shots on goal.
- Graduate transfer netminder Connor Hopkins posted 15 saves in his debut game for the Huskies.
Northeastern will travel for the Thanksgiving weekend to take on RPI next Saturday (Nov. 25) and Sunday (Nov. 26). Both games are scheduled for 3 p.m.
