STORRS, Conn— The No. 13 Northeastern women's hockey team was held off the score sheet and fell to the University of Connecticut Huskies, 1-0, on Saturday night at the Toscano Family Ice Forum.
- The two sides skated through a scoreless first and second frame. Connecticut was able to get on the board with the game's lone goal at the 15:17 mark in the third period after Jada Habisch tapped one in on a two-on-one breakaway.
- Northeastern outshot UConn 22-19 overall. Junior Skylar Irving led all players with six shots.
- Fifth year netminder Gwyneth Philips made 18 saves in goal.Â
Northeastern will next face Providence on Friday, Nov. 10 for the Huskies' Military Appreciation game on Homecoming Weekend at 7 p.m. in Matthews Arena.
