BOSTON, Mass. – The Northeastern Huskies dropped, 3-1, to the No. 1 Boston College Eagles to split the weekend series.

• The first frame saw a standstill until the final four minutes when the Huskies took a 1-0 lead into the intermission. Sophomore Jackson Dorrington saw an opening from the left point for a shot that was just tipped by senior Alex Campbell for his sixth goal of the season.
• Boston College scored the lone second period goal with a man-advantage to tie the game 1-1.
• At the 18:03 mark in the third period, the Eagles would tally their second of the night to take a one-goal lead.
• The Eagles would add one more to take the 3-1 win.
• Goaltender Cameron Whitehead finished with 31 saves in 59:11 of action. Dorrington led with four blocks, while junior Justin Hryckowian tallied 16 faceoff wins.

Northeastern is slated for a single Saturday (Dec. 9) contest next weekend with Brown University at Meehan Auditorium.
