Northeastern Falls To San Jose State

BROOKLINE, Mass.— The Northeastern women's soccer team dropped a 1-0 contest to the San Jose State Spartans on Thursday evening at Parsons Field.
  • The Huskies and Spartans were held off the board in the first half. San Jose State broke the scoreless deadlock in the 48th minute when Bella Flocchini scored. The Spartans maintained their 1-0 lead for the remainder of the game.
  • Freshman keeper Eliza Teplow made her first collegiate start and posted three saves.
  • Alexis Legowski led the Huskies with two shots on goal, while Vivian Akyirem had one.
Northeastern is back in action at Parsons Field on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 1 p.m. against Eastern Michigan.
