WORCESTER, Mass.— Behind a two-goal outing from sophomore Mia Langlois, the Northeastern women's hockey team downed the Holy Cross Crusaders, 6-1, on Friday night at the Hart Center Rink. With the victory, the Huskies' winning streak extends to five games.

Twelve Huskies recorded a point in the victory and six student-athletes had multi-point efforts.
  • The Huskies potted two goals just 41 second apart in the first period to take a 2-0 lead into the break. Sophomore Mia Langlois started the scoring with her first goal of the year with assists from freshmen Ella Blackmore and Rylie Jones. Graduate student Peyton Anderson then doubled the Husky lead with her 10th goal of the season. Anderson's tally was assisted by freshmen Allie Lalonde and Peyton Compton.
  • Four goals were scored between both sides in the second period with Northeastern outscoring the Crusaders 3-1. Compton extended the Huskies advantage to 3-0 with a bar down snipe, assisted by her linemates Anderson and Lalonde.
  • Northeastern's leading scorer Skylar Irving claimed a power-play goal to push the score to 4-0. She had helpers from sophomore Jules Constantinople and Jones. Langlois then closed out NU's scoring in the period with her second goal of the day, with assists from sophomore Lily Brazis and Blackmore.
  • Holy Cross was able to get one back on the power-play in the second as the score sat at 5-1 headed into the third.
  • In the final frame, sophomore Avery Anderson claimed her first career goal to bring the final score to 6-1 in favor of the Huskies. Anderson's tally was assisted by sophomore Holly Abela and senior Lily Yovetich.
