BROOKLINE, Mass.— Jessie Hunt scored her third goal of the season, but the Northeastern women's soccer team fell to the Hofstra Pride, 2-1, on Thursday night at Parsons Field.
- The first 45 minutes saw zero goals, with Sophie Theresia Augustin making three saves in goal to keep it level.
- In the second half, Hofstra opened the scoring in the 53rd minute of action. Northeastern was able to tie the game up at 1-1 just under four minutes later with Hunt's third goal of the year. Hunt punched in a cross from Maggie Cochran and Sofie Fox.
- The Pride then retook the lead with a goal in the 68th minute to push the final score to 2-1.
- Augustin finished with six saves in goal.Â
The Huskies next travel to Drexel on Sunday, Oct. 13 at 12 p.m.
