CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — The Northeastern men's hockey team dropped game one of their weekend series against No. 3 Boston College, 3-0, at Conte Forum.
- The opening frame ended with the Eagles ahead 2-0 with both goals coming in the first 11 minutes of action.
- The second period went scoreless as both teams recorded eight shots on goal. After 40 minutes, junior Jack Williams continued to lead both teams with ten wins in the dot.
- The Eagles opened the third period with their third goal of the game at the 18:53 mark, which would mark the final tally of the night.
- Junior Vinny Borgesi recorded a game-high five shots, while defensemen Jake Boltmann and Joaquim Lemay tied for a team-high two blocks.
- Williams finished the contest leading both teams with 17 faceoff wins, followed by senior Ryan McGuire with ten and sophomore Eli Sebastian with nine.
- Sophomore goaltender Cameron Whitehead, in 60 minutes of action, finished with 29 saves.
The Huskies host the Eagles tomorrow night (Nov. 23) for their White Out game, beginning at 7 p.m. at Matthews Arena.
