BOSTON— The Northeastern women's hockey team is set to close out its 2024 slate on the road at New Hampshire on Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 6 p.m. The game will be available to watch live on ESPN+.

The Huskies will close out their three-game Hockey East series with the Wildcats, after both teams claimed a win in early November.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- A DECEMBER TO REMEMBER: The Huskies have not lost a game in the month of December since the 2020-21 season. NU is on a five-game winning streak in the month, dating back to the 2021-22 season. Northeastern has not dropped a road game during the month of December since a 3-1 overtime loss at UNH on Dec. 1, 2017.
- A SWEDE SENSATION: Freshman Lisa Jönsson leads all goaltenders nationally with a 1.01 GAA and .964 save percentage. Her three shutouts rank tied for the seventh-best mark in the NCAA. Jönsson is 5-2-0 in her career and is averaging 26.43 saves per game in her starts.
- DAWGS VS. CATS: Northeastern and New Hampshire split the previous two meetings this season, with the Huskies winning at UNH, 4-1, and then falling at home, 2-0. New Hampshire enters this matchup after splitting a two-game series with Mercyhurst. The Wildcats have the top-ranked power-play among Hockey East schools (.214). Additionally, UNH leads all Hockey East schools with 228 blocks on the season. Chavonne Truter has a team-high 11 points. Sedona Blair has played the bulk of the minutes in net and owns a 2.16 GAA and .926 save percentage, while Noemi Martinez posted a 30-save shutout against the Huskies earlier this season.
Northeastern will open 2025 with a home game against Merrimack on Friday, Jan. 3 at 6 p.m. in Matthews Arena.
