BROOKLINE, Mass.— The Northeastern women's soccer team closed out non-conference action with a 6-1 loss to the Brown Bears on Thursday night at Parsons Field.

• Brown scored three goals in the first half to take a 3-0 lead into the second. Eliza Teplow made two saves in 45 minutes of action.
• In the second half, Federica Gavelli checked into goal for her first minutes in a Husky uniform. Brown tacked on three more goals to start the second half to push the score to 6-0.
• Lauren Dupont got one back for the Huskies with her first goal of the season in the 78th minute. Dupont put home a cross from Avery LeVangie to bring the final score to 6-1.
• Gavelli finished her day with two saves.

The Huskies open CAA play hosting Elon on Sunday, Sept. 22 at 1 p.m.
