Huskies Cap Off Head of the Charles Weekend

BOSTON, Mass. -- The Northeastern women's rowing team capped off a full weekend at the Head of the Charles on Sunday, as four boats took to the water across two days of racing.

The event spans a three-mile course through Cambridge and showcases an elite field of the world's top collegiate and club programs.

On Saturday, Northeastern had three boats in action, featuring one Club 4+ and two Club 8+ lineups. The Club 4+, coxed by Isabella Leao, finished 19th overall with a time of 18:59.736. In the Club 8+ events, the crew stroked by Liv Oyen placed sixth with a time of 16:44.941, while the boat led by Elsa Cressotti finished 28th, among the 43 boats, in 17:37.902.
On Sunday, the final day of the event, Northeastern placed 16th in the Women's Championship Eights division, as coxswain Isabella Hsia guided the crew to a time of 16:19.974.
