BOSTON -- Senior guard LA Pratt of the Northeastern men's basketball team was named to the All-CAA Preseason Second Team at the conference's annual Media Day on Thursday morning.
 
Pratt, the Huskies' leading returning scorer, rebounder and assist man from a year ago, played in 31 games during his first season on Huntington Avenue in 2024-25 finishing fourth on the team in scoring (11.2), third in minutes (31.2) and shooting 43% overall (141-of-328). He reached double figures 15 times, including five 20+ point nights, was third on the team in assists (76) and second in steals (42).
 
In league play, the Columbus, Ohio native averaged 11.6 points per game (third on team), and went for a career-high 26 points on 10-of-18 shooting overall, 5-of-9 from deep (career-high) in a career-best 39 minutes at Monmouth (Feb. 24).
 
Pratt and the Huskies kickoff the 2025-26 season on Monday, November 3 against crosstown rival Boston University (7:30 p.m.) in its first of two games during the final season at Matthews Arena.
