BOSTON— Following a bye week, the No. 12 Northeastern women's hockey team is back in action with a home-and-home Hockey East series against the Boston University Terriers. Game one is slated for a 6 p.m. puck drop at Walter Brown Arena on Friday, Oct. 31. The Huskies will then host BU in Matthews Arena for game two on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 3 p.m.

Both games will stream live on ESPN+. Northeastern women's hockey and Team USA legend, Shelley Looney is slated to drop the puck against the Terriers on Saturday as NU continues to celebrate its final season in the Historic Matthews Arena.

THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
	- IT'S ALL ABOUT BALANCE: The Huskies have 15 players that have recorded a point this season and 12 players score a goal. In 2024-25, NU had 14 players record a goal the entire season. Northeastern has five players that have scored multiple goals. Sophomore Éloïse Caron leads all Huskies with four goals, tied for the third-best mark in Hockey East.
- GOING FOR THE KILL: To start 2025-26, NU is 16-for-17 on the penalty kill. The Huskies' penalty killing percentage sits at .941, the sixth-best mark in the NCAA. The only power-play goal the Huskies have allowed this season came from a 5-on-3 advantage.
- HOWLING AT THE MOON: Boston University and Northeastern are meeting for the first time since the Terriers defeated the Huskies in the Hockey East Championship game 3-2 in overtime last season. Friday's matchup will also serve as Northeastern's second-ever game on Halloween in program history. The Terriers took the Hockey East series last year, 2-1, for the first time since the 2014-15 season.  In five games against the Terriers last year, graduate student Jaden Bogden led all Huskies with four points.
The Huskies will next host Vermont for a two-game series beginning on Friday, Nov. 7 at 1:30 p.m. over homecoming weekend.
