RICHMOND, Va. – Northeastern freshman
Emma Rowell has been selected to the 2025 All-CAA Second Team and CAA All-Rookie team, as announced by the league on Wednesday afternoon.
The rookie was a driving force for Northeastern this season, appearing in a team-high 99 sets while leading the Huskies in points (301.5), points per set (3.05), kills (278), and kills per set (2.81). The 5-10 outside hitter showcased impressive versatility, adding five assists, three service aces and 96 digs to her stat line.
In CAA play, Rowell continued to shine, ranking ninth in the conference in both total kills (189) and kills per set (2.95), underscoring her immediate impact and all-around contribution to the Huskies.
Rowell is the first Husky to make an All-CAA team and the All-Rookie team in the season since Jamie Bredahl in 2013.
