BOSTON— Sophomore goaltender
Lisa Jönsson pitched a 20-save shutout to lead the No. 9 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 3-0 victory over Vermont on Friday afternoon at Matthews Arena.

With the victory, the Huskies improve to 6-0-0 at home and 4-0-0 in Hockey East play.
- Northeastern used balanced scoring from start to finish, getting one goal in each period to take down the Catamounts. Freshman Stryker Zablocki opened the scoring with a power-play tally at the 12:37 mark of the first period with assists from senior Jules Constantinople and freshman Alessia Baechler.
- In the second, senior Lily Brazis doubled the Huskies' lead to 2-0 with her first goal of the season. Brazis had assists from junior Ella Blackmore and senior Kristina Allard.
- Sophomore Morgan Jackson closed out the scoring to make it 3-0 with an unassisted, empty-net goal at the 17:32 mark.
- Jönsson posted her second shutout of the season in net and improved to 6-1-0 on the season.
Northeastern and Vermont will close out the two-game series tomorrow, Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1:30 p.m.
