AMESBURY, Mass.— For the third time this season senior
Lily Shannon of the No. 6 Northeastern women's hockey team has been named the Hockey East Player of the Week.

Shannon helped guide the Huskies to a weekend split over No. 4 Penn State. She posted two goals and one assist over two games.

In Friday's victory, Shannon posted a multi-point effort, including the game-winning tally. She finished the series with a plus-one rating and four blocks.

The Andover, Massachusetts native has already set a new career-high with 26 points, which leads all Hockey East players. She also leads all conference players in goals (12), assists (14) and points per game (1.63).

Shannon and the Huskies are back in action against New Hampshire on Tuesday, Dec. 2 at 6 p.m.
