Lily Shannon scored the game-winning goal on senior night to deliver the No. 6 Northeastern women's hockey team a 4-2 victory in the program's final game at Matthews Arena. Freshman

Stryker Zablocki in addition to Shannon, each notched a goal in the win.
With the win, Northeastern improves to 11-1-0 in Hockey East play. Over 100 program alumni were in attendance to cheer on the Huskies in the final game in Matthews Arena.
- The Eagles struck first and early at 4:15 in the first period. The Huskies responded at 8:10 with a goal from Lloyd, assists coming from freshman Emy McDermid and senior Holly Abela.
- At the end of the first period, Boston College notched their second and only other goal of the night.
- Bogden resumed the scoring for the Huskies 4:17 into the second, assisted by Zablocki and junior Rylie Jones to even the game at 2-2.
- With about two minutes left in the third period, Lily Shannon found the back of the net, breaking the 2-2 tie. The assists were earned by Zablocki and Jones.
- The Huskies win was secured by Zablocki's empty-netter to bring the final score to 4-2.
- Sophomore goaltender Lisa Jönsson finished the game with 28 saves.
The Huskies resume their season in 2026 on Tuesday, Jan. 6 at Yale.
