NEWTON, Mass. – Wrapping up a two-game stretch of road games, the Northeastern men's soccer team (1-2-1) fell to the Boston College Eagles (2-2-0) by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday evening at the Newton Campus Soccer Field.
- The Eagles struck first after winning a penalty on a Husky foul in the box in the 10th minute. BC converted to make it 1-0.
- Northeastern's best chance came in the 52nd minute on a blocked shot from Kade Tepe that fell to Neil Devnani, but his rebound shot was saved by the BC keeper.
- The Huskies were held scoreless for the first time this season, despite six shots on goal in the contest.
- Shots in the contest were nearly even, with BC holding a 15-14 in total shots taken, while Northeastern led in shots on target at 6-5.
Northeastern returns home for their next contest, which takes place this Saturday, September 6
