DURHAM, N.H.— Sophomore Éloïse Caron scored twice to guide the No. 7 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 2-1 victory at New Hampshire on Saturday evening.

• The Huskies took a 1-0 lead into the second period after Caron opened the scoring with just 18.4 seconds remaining in the first. Caron's ninth goal of the year was assisted by freshman Stryker Zablocki and senior Lily Shannon.
• The Wildcats evened the score at 1-1 with a 5-on-3 goal. Caron got her second of the game to help the Huskies retake the lead at 2-1 with a shorthanded goal. Caron's shorthanded tally was NU's first of the season and was assisted by graduate student Jaden Bogden.
• The Huskies fended off several chances from the Wildcats in the third to hang on for the 2-1 victory.
• Freshman netminder Renna Trembecky finished with 18 saves in the win.

Northeastern will next take on Boston College in the Beanpot's third-place game on Tuesday, Jan. 20 at 4:30 p.m. at TD Garden.
