BOSTON - Northeastern swim and dive athlete
Anna Verlander earned herself CAA Swimmer of the Week honors after a successful weekend at the Tate Ramsden Invitational.
Verlander delivered a standout performance at the Tate Ramsden Invitational, securing two individual victories and contributing to a relay win for Northeastern. The senior captured the 100 Back in a time of 56.00 and touched the wall at 2:02.19 in the 200 Back, with both times ranking among the 12 fastest in the conference this season. She also swam on the Huskies first-place 400 Free Relay team alongside
Siena Griffiths,
Alex Fuller and
Kotoko Blair, to cap a strong meet.
The Atlanta, Georgia native and the team will continue the season this Saturday, Jan. 24 as the team hosts Stony Brook for senior day.Â
