WORCESTER, Mass.— Freshman
Ella Lloyd recorded a goal and an assist to lead the No. 6 Northeastern women's hockey team to a 2-1 victory at No. 13/14 Holy Cross on Saturday evening.

Stryker Zablocki also recorded a multi-point effort with two assists.
- Going against the top penalty killing unit in the country, Lloyd scored on the player advantage at the 11:40 mark of the first period. Lloyd's goal was assisted by Zablocki and junior Rylie Jones.
- The Huskies would take a 1-0 lead into the final frame of the game with a 19-14 edge in shots on goal.
- Again, on the power-play sophomore Morgan Jackson scored to give the Huskies a 2-0 edge in the third period. Jackson's goal was assisted by Zablocki and Lloyd.
- With the goaltender pulled, Holy Cross scored to cut the Husky lead to 2-1. Northeastern held on late to pull out the 2-1 victory.
- Freshman Renna Trembecky finished with 21 saves in her sixth win of the season.
The Huskies will next host Maine at Walter Brown Arena on Thursday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m.
