STORRS, Conn.— One minute into overtime, sophomore
Morgan Jackson scored to deliver the No. 5 Northeastern women's hockey team a 3-2 victory at No. 6 Connecticut on Friday evening. With the win, the Huskies swept UConn in the Hockey East regular season for the second-straight year.

Northeastern reached the 20-win mark in Hockey East for the sixth time in program history.
- A fast-paced first period saw UConn take a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. UConn scored first, but junior Rylie Jones tied the score at 1-1 with a power-play goal at the 11:17 mark, assisted by junior Allie Lalonde and senior Jules Constantinople. With 34 seconds remaining the frame, Connecticut scored again to take the 2-1 lead.
- In the second, Northeastern once again evened the score this time at 2-2 with a goal from freshman Stryker Zablocki. Zablocki's 16th goal of the season was assisted by Lalonde and sophomore Tristan Thompson.
- The third period ended in 2-2 and the two sides headed to overtime. Jackson potted the game-winner one minute into overtime with assists from freshman Ella Lloyd and senior Lily Shannon.
- Sophomore netminder Lisa Jönsson posted 35 saves in her 18th victory of the season.Â
The Huskies will close out the regular season at Providence on Saturday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m.
