BOSTON — The Northeastern men's hockey team was blanked, 2-0, by the UConn Huskies on Friday evening at Bentley Arena.

UConn potted the contest's only two goals in the first and second periods courtesy of Ethan Gardula and Alexandre Blais, respectively.

Senior Austen May and sophomore Joe Connor paced all Northeastern with three shots on goal, while May and senior Dylan Finlay led NU with three blocks. Junior goaltender Lawton Zacher turned aside 22 shots in 58:22 minutes of action.

Northeastern is back in action in a matter of days as they are set to take on the Harvard Crimson in the Beanpot tournament at 4:30 p.m. at TD Garden.
