NEW BRITAIN, Conn. -- The Northeastern Huskies (6-7) erupted for 18 runs on nine hits, taking advantage of six Central Connecticut State errors in an 18-10 victory over the Blue Devils (4-3) on Wednesday afternoon at CCSU Baseball Field.

- Anthony Ruggiero wasted no time extending the lead, going opposite field for a two-run homer two batters later to make it 3-0 after half an inning.

Will Fosberg singled to right to drive in the first run, and Charlie Criscola came around to score on a throwing error on the ensuing play. - Carmelo Musacchia drove in the final run of the afternoon with a sacrifice fly in the seventh, plating Brinker to cap the scoring at 18-10.
- Brinker finished 1-for-2 with a three-run homer, two walks, a hit-by-pitch, three runs scored, and three RBIs. Ruggiero went 3-for-4 with a homer and four RBIs. Cha drove in three on his homer, going 1-for-5 with two runs scored.
- Gerety had a strong day at the top of the lineup, going 2-for-5 with two doubles and three runs scored. Fosberg went 1-for-5 with two RBIs.
- The Huskies were aggressive on the basepaths, swiping nine stolen bases on the afternoon. Musacchia led the way with three steals, while Feinberg added two. Gerety, Brinker, Criscola, and Walsh each swiped one.
