Gainesville, Ga. — The Northeastern women's rowing capped its 12th consecutive appearance at the 2026 NCAA Rowing Championship with a 18th-place finish in the Division I team standings on the final day of competition at Lake Lanier Olympic Park.
The Huskies placed 18th in the varsity eight, 16th in the second varsity eight and 17th in the varsity four. All three boats posted the fastest times in program history at the NCAA Championship.
The varsity four opened the day with a fifth-place finish in the C Final, crossing in 7:02.799 — less than a second behind fourth-place Ohio State. The result tied the program's best finish at the NCAAs, and the time bested the previous program record by 25 seconds.
The second varsity eight earned a fourth-place finish in the C Final with a time of 6:16.721, edging Ohio State by just under two seconds. The finish tied the best in program history at the NCAAs, and the time bested the previous program record by 20 seconds.
The varsity eight closed the weekend on a high note, posting a 6:20.142 in the C Final — the fastest time in program history at the NCAA Championship by more than 10 seconds.
