BOSTON, Mass.— The Northeastern women's soccer team traveled cross-town to face the Boston University Terriers in their 2026 season opener. Junior Claire Murray scored in the 54th minute of the second half to lift the Huskies past the Terriers 1-0.Â
- Senior Eliza Teplow was a brick wall with nine saves in her first win of the season.Â
- Murray's goal came on a feed from freshman Lula Arcila in the box who finished far post from the goalie. It marked Arcila's first collegiate point.
- This is Northeastern's first season opening win since 2022.Â
Northeastern will travel to North Andover, Mass. to face Merrimack College on Sunday, August 16, at 1 p.m.
