BOSTON – Sophomore Emma Rowell has been selected to the 2026 Preseason All-CAA Team, the Coastal Athletic Association announced Wednesday, while senior Beatrice Gennari earned honorable mention recognition.

Rowell reached double-figure kills in all 25 matches she appeared in a season ago, highlighted by back-to-back 15-kill performances during Northeastern's Elon weekend and a 13-kill effort against Hampton. The Torrance, Calif. native's breakout campaign earned her a spot on the 2025 All-CAA Second Team and the CAA All-Rookie Team.

Gennari has developed into one of the league's top blockers, growing her block total from 57 as a first-year Husky in 2024 to a team-leading 97 last season. The Monza, Italy native turned in one of her best all-around games at Fairfield, recording 12 kills and a team-high 17.5 points.

Rowell, Gennari and the Huskies open the season at the South Carolina Tournament, taking on UNC Greensboro on August 29.
