BOSTON— Riding a four-game shutout streak to open the season the Northeastern women's soccer team is set to host two games at Parsons Field, beginning with Yale on Thursday, Aug. 27 at 6 p.m. The Huskies will then host New Hampshire on Sunday, Aug. 30 at 1 p.m.
Both games will stream on FloCollege.
THREE THINGS TO KNOW:
- NONE SHALL PASS: For the first time since 2000, Northeastern has allowed zero goals through its first four games. Senior goalkeeper Eliza Teplow has posted 23 saves over four games and is one of three goalkeepers in the nation to post four shutouts. Teplow and defenders, senior Maddie Aughe, sophomore Ava Gialanella and sophomore Nicole Bartlett have all played every minute of the season to contribute to the four shutouts.
- BATTLE FOR TOP DOG: The Bulldogs are making their second-ever trip to Parsons Field on Thursday for the second meeting all-time between the two teams. Yale won the first and only matchup, 2-1, in double overtime in 2019. Yale sits at 1-1 on the season with a win against Vermont and a loss to Quinnipiac.
- DAWGS VS. CATS: The Huskies will host the Wildcats on Sunday, with NU holding a 12-8-4 all-time record against UNH. The Huskies are riding a two-game win streak against the Wildcats with the last meeting in 2022 being a 1-0 win for Northeastern. New Hampshire is still searching for its first win of the season after starting 0-1-2, the Wildcats will face Rhode Island on Thursday before traveling to Parsons.
The Huskies will next make the short trip to Cambridge to take on Harvard on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m.
