2011: Walked, stole a base and scored a run in a 9-4 win over St. Bonaventure (3/5/11)...singled in a 3-2 defeat to Rhode Island (3/4/11)...had an RBI triple in NU's 8-4 defeat to Western Michigan (3/3/11)...went 1-3 in a 14-1 loss to Florida Atlantic (3/1/11)...singled and scored in the Huskies' 12-4 loss to Rhode Island (2/27/11)...pitched 1-2/3 innings, allowing one run while fanning two Bonnies is a 6-5 loss to St. Bonaventure (2/27/11)...homered on the first pitch of the game against the Boston Red Sox (2/26/11).
2010: Made 27 starts in 37 total games, going 19-for-90 (.211) with four doubles and seven RBI...went 2-for-4 with a double and a run as the Huskies beat Rhode Island, 4-2 (May 19)...batted 2-3 with an RBI and a run score in NU's 8-5 win over UMass in round one of the Beanpot (April 14)...took an outside fastball deep to right-center for a two-run double in the Huskies' 13-1 win over St. Bonaventure (Feb. 27).
2009: Maguire finished the season strong for the Huskies with a .295 batting average and a on-base percentage of .341...hit six home runs, one triple and had six doubles in 44 games...went 8-for-15 in the Towson series with six runs nand seven RBI to go with two home runs...had five RBI in the Huskies loss to Harvard on April 28...hit his first home run of the season against URI on April 20...made a spectacular leaping catch to end the game in the Huskies 5-4 victory March 3.
2008: Played in 34 games, making 31 starts for the Huskies...doubled and scored a run in the Huskies' 16-14 setback against Western Michigan March 2...went 2-for-4 with a run scored in the Huskies' 4-1 win over Bowling Green March 3...singled and scored a run at George Mason March 22...finished 2-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored in NU's 8-6 win at URI March 25...doubled in only at-bat at Old Dominion April 26...added an RBI-single vs. Hofstra May 2.
Before NU: Attended Marist College on a baseball scholarship for a year before transferring to Northeastern...played varsity baseball and varsity hockey for three years at Noble & Greenough Prep, captaining both teams his senior year...ISL All-Star for three years in both baseball and hockey...batted at least .450 in each of his three seasons at Noble & Greenough.
Personal: Born Aug. 13, 1986...doubles as a forward on the NU hockey team...enjoys playing golf and listening to country music...hopes to either work for the State Police or play baseball professionally...Criminal Justice major...Class of 2011.
