2012: Singled and walked in the season opener at Jacksonville on Feb. 24...singled and scored in the first game of a doubleheader vs. Bowling Green on March 4...got a pinch hit RBI single through the right side in the eighth inning against UMass (May 2).
2011: Doubled and singled in a 4-2 loss to James Madison (May 21)....went 2-5 with a run scored in a 4-3 win over Delaware (May 13)...singled in a 4-3 triumph over CCSU (May 11)...singled in a 5-2 loss to Maine (May 10)...blasted his first career home run in a 4-5 effort, scoring three times with one RBI ina 12-5 win over George Mason (May 8)...went 2-3 with a trio of RBI in a 12-6 loss to George Mason (May 7)...singled and scored off the bench in a 5-4 loss to William & Mary (May 1)...singled in a 5-3 loss to William & Mary (April 29)...singled and recorded an RBI in a 7-6 loss to Rhode Island (April 6)...clubbed a base hit in a 10-3 loss to Old Dominion (March 19)... singled and scored in NU's 7-6 loss to Sacred Heart (Feb. 28)...collected a base hit in a 12-4 loss to Rhode Island (Feb. 27).
2010: Appeared in five games, going 1-for-6 with a run scored...Logged his first collegiate hit, a pinch-hit single to left field, in NU's 15-5 loss to Rhode Island (April 7).
High School: Played three years of varsity baseball at Quincy High School in Quincy, Mass. for coach Mike Dracchio… primarily pitched and played multiple infield positions…helped lead his team to two appearances in the state tournament in 2006 and 2008…captained the team for one year… in 2008, was named to the Atlantic Coast League's All-Star and All-Scholastic teams…also played four years of golf, where he was the only player at Quincy to score a hole-in-one in match play.
Personal: Born Sept. 10, 1990 to Richard and Judith Salvucci… has two brothers and one sister…made the NU Dean's list…member of NHS from 2006 to 2008, serving as president his final year…enjoys golf, guitar, skiing and swimming…majoring in Chemical Engineering with hopes to become a chemical engineer…Class of 2014.
