ESPN the Magazine All-Academic District I team...in three innings of relief Zehr allowed only three hits and no runs on May 1 against George Mason...struck out four in tow and third against Dallas Baptist on April 10...pitched three innings in relief against Delaware striking out three batters and allowing only two hits...pitched a scoreless eighth as the Huskies beat Fairfield 5-4 on March 3...
struck out five batters in four innings of work March 7 against Miami (Ohio)...pitched five scoreless innings March 1 earning the win as the Huskies beat Northwestern 6-4.
2008: Finished second on the team with 16 appearances on the season and also made five starts for the Huskies...gathered a 2-4 record and a team-best four saves in 42-1/3 innings pitched...walked just 11 batters on the season and has walked just 19 batters in 82-2/3 innings pitched in his career...retired the only two batters he faced, coming on in relief in the Huskies' 10-9 win vs. Villanova at Manatee Community College in Bradenton, Fla. March 1...earned first win of the season after tossing a complete game against Bowling Green in which he scattered 10 hits and gave up just one run and one walk, respectively...threw two scoreless innings of relief at Delaware March 14...tossed a perfect 1-1/3 innings to pick up his second save of the season in NU's 10-6 win at George Mason March 21...threw 1-1/3 scoreless innings and struck out three at George Mason March 22...earned third save on the season after tossing a scoreless ninth in NU's 8-6 win at URI March 25...picked up his second win of the season after tossing the final two innings of the Huskies' 8-5 win at UMass May 6...tossed 3-1/3 no-hit innings of relief and recorded three strikeouts on his way to earning his team-best fourth save on the season in the Huskies' 6-3 win at Boston College May 11...threw a scoreless inning of relief in his final appearance of the season, allowing one hit and striking out two in the Huskies' 8-3 win vs. URI May 13.
2007: After battling injuries for the past two seasons, went 3-2 with a 4.02 ERA in his first healthy season as a Husky, appearing in 12 games and making four weekday starts...didn't allow an earned run and struck out two over 2-2/3 innings of relief against Towson on March 25...picked up his first collegiate victory after striking out two in an inning of scoreless relief in the Huskies' 5-4 win against URI on March 27...gave up one hit and struck out three in 2-1/3 innings of scoreless relief against Old Dominon on March 31...in his second career start, improved to 2-2 after pitching six innings of eight-hit, two-run, six-strikeout ball in the Huskies' 9-2 victory against Holy Cross on April 10...arguably pitched his best game of the year, improving to 3-2 after he giving up five hits, just one earned run and striking out two over six innings in NU's 17-6 rout of UMass in the first round of the Beanpot on April 19...pitched 2-1/3 scoreless innings of relief in the Huskies' 2-0, Beanpot Championship win against Boston College at Fenway Park on April 25...pitched a solid six innings, giving up two earned runs and striking out two, earning a no-decision in NU's 6-4 win at Marist on April 30...surrendered three earned runs in four innings of relief against UNC Wilmington on May 4...allowed run and struck out two over four innings of relief in the Huskies final game of the season against VCU.
