Personal: Son of John and Michelle Griffin … Has two sisters, Nikki, 15 and Natalie, 11 … father, John, played baseball at Northeastern from 1984-1987 … Plans to major in General Studies.
Madigan on Griffin: Lincoln Griffin comes in again from Thayer Academy and is the youngest player in this class. Lincoln played for Tony Amonte this year and was a linemate of Adam Gaudette's for two years where they had good chemistry together. Lincoln, without Gaudette on his team this year, was the go-to guy. He too is a guy with a motor that doesn't stop, but he has the ability to make plays and be a cerebral, smart player. There's texture and grittiness to him and he gets into the dirty areas. Lincoln is 5'11" but you wouldn't know it by the way he plays. He makes things happen with his quickness and his ability to never give up. People might remember his dad, John, who played baseball here at Northeastern. He was a great athlete who still holds some baseball records. Lincoln played baseball up until a year ago but then solely focused in on hockey. He's a really good athlete and is someone who we expect to contribute offensively.
