From Nichols: "Nicole is yet another SoCal prodigy who we found playing for the always exciting Wave Volleyball Club. That's familiar territory for us as it was the home of 2014 senior captain Alexa Armstrong. Brennan Dean runs a great club as evidenced by their current ranking of fourth in the incredibly competitive SCVA (Southern California Volleyball Association), and coach Juliana Evans has developed a lineup of remarkable talent on their top 18's team. Nicole is a quick and commanding student-athlete who can dig a ball with ease, even when delivered by the best players in the nation. She reads servers as well as anyone I have coached, which, coupled with her speed, creates a very effective receive passer. Nicole has a potent serve and the ability to set the ball when necessary, which means she has a complete game. But more than that, she is a fierce defender, always seeming to be right where the ball is. She will add tremendously to our ability to stay in volleys and win points."
