• Was in the starting lineup in all but one game that he played in this season playing in a total of 28 games 
• Finished the season shooting roughly 40% from long distance, 44% from the field, and 84% from the free-throw line 
• Averaged 11.5 points per game which put him at 20th in the CAA
• Made an impressive leap from the 2020-2021 season going from 3 rebounds a game to almost 6 rebounds a game which put him at 12th in the CAA this past season 
• On top of his other outstanding averages, Nikola was also able to average a steal per game putting him at 20th in the CAA in steals per game 
• His biggest game of the season came against the College of Charleston (2/22) where he played all 40 minutes and put in 27 points and grabbed 7 rebounds 

AT NOTRE DAME (2017-21)

• Elected team captain in 2020-21
• 2020 Notre Dame Team Irish Award
• Finished with 11 points in a upset win over No. 11 Florida State (3/6/21) on Senior Night
• Scored 18 points off the bench against Miami (2/14/21), going 7-for-10 from the floor and grabbing 7 rebounds and blocking 2 shots
• Tallied 9 points and a season-high 8 rebounds against Wake Forest (2/2/21)
• Posted his first career 20-point game with 21 points at Boston College (1/28/19), making 4-of-6 shots from behind the arc
• Finished with a team-best 7 points, 6 rebounds and 2 blocked shots off the bench vs. No. 2 Duke (1/28/19)
• Grabbed a career-high 9 rebounds in the NIT opening round win over Hampton (3/3/18)
• Reached double figures for the second time in his freshman campaign against No. 4 Duke (1/29/18), finishing with 10 points
• Took a redshirt season in 2016-17

BEFORE NU: Attended Saltfleet for his freshman to junior seasons before transferring to Athlete Institute Prep for his final year of competition ... Averaged 18.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game in his junior campaign, helping Saltfleet win the Triple A OFSAA Championship (equal to a state title in the U.S.) ... Helped Athlete Institute Prep win first-ever OSBA Championship as a senior ... Lettered in volleyball and soccer during his prep career.
