TEAM
• Northeastern finished in second place in the final Hockey East standings, its highest finish since the 2008-09 season. It’s the fifth time in team history that the Huskies have finished in third place or higher (2008-09, 1985-86, 1987-88, 1988-89).
 
• The Huskies now have 21 wins for the fifth time in team history, and recorded 15 victories in Hockey East play for the third time in program history.
 
• Saturday marked Northeastern’s fifth straight win, the longest win streak of the season.
 
• Northeastern is outscoring its opponents 39-16 in the first period this season, a +23 goal differential that leads the nation.
 
• The Huskies are 74-9-4 (.874) when leading after two periods since 2013-14, including an 18-3-1 mark this season.
 
• Northeastern held its opponent to two goals or fewer for the 16th time this season, the most since the 2008-09 season.
 
INDIVIDUAL
• Adam Gaudette captured the Hockey East regular season scoring title with 33 points (19 goals, 14 assists) in conference play. He is the first Husky to win the scoring crown since Jason Guerriero in 2004-05.
 
• Of Hockey East’s nine Hobey Baker Award winners, five won the conference scoring title (Jack Eichel, Johnny Gaudreau, Jason Krog, Paul Kariya, David Emma).
 
• Cayden Primeau was named the Hockey East Goaltending Champion. He is the first Husky to be the goaltending champion since Brad Thiessen in 2008-09. He’s also the fifth freshman in conference history to win, and first since Thatcher Demko in 2013-14.
 
• This marks the first time since 2013-14 (Boston College’s Johnny Gaudreau and Thatcher Demko), and 16th time in Hockey East history, that one team had both the scoring champion and goaltending champion in the same season.
 
• Gaudette moved into 15th on Northeastern’s single-season points list (56) and tie for 11th in single-season goals (29)  
 
• Gaudette’s also now 23rd in career scoring at Northeastern with 138 points, tied for 11th in career goals (67) and tied for 31st in career assists (71).
 
• Nolan Stevens moved into a tie for 31st on Northeastern’s career goals list (54) and into 36th in career points (113).
 
• Gaudette has points in seven straight games (10 goals, seven assists). He’s scored at least one goal in each game, one shy of a career-long.
 
• Stevens has points in seven of his last eight games (five goals, seven assists).
 
• Primeau moved into a tie for sixth in single-season wins at Northeastern (17), and tied the Northeastern freshman record for shutouts in a season (four), set by Brad Thiessen in 2006-07.
