  • Appeared in 60 games, making 58 starts as the team's primary center fielder
  • Tied his career high in batting average (.351) while putting up a career-high 78 hits, 76 runs (program record), 17 doubles, 15 homers, and 59 RBIs
  • Set a new program record with his 81st career stolen base at Monmouth on April 27th - finished the year with 86.
  • Hit four home runs in the final three games (including a double header) of the San Diego State Series (3/8-9)
  • Was one of three Huskies tied with a team-best 23 multi-hit games, and eight 3-hit games

2024:
  • Made 48 appearances, 42 starts
  • Tallied 39 hits, with six doubles and eight home runs, driving in 23 RBIs
  • Had a .411 OBP (29 walks, 8 HBP) and scored 45 runs for the second season in a row
  • Stole 29 bases, which led the CAA in 2024
2023:
  • Burst onto the scene in his rookie season appearing in 55 of Northeastern's 60 games, starting in 54 of those appearances
  • Posted a team-high .353 batting average with 74 hits and 45 runs scored
  • Led the team and the conference with 31 stolen bases on just 32 attempts
  • Hit 13 homers in his rookie season, breaking the previous record set in 2012 (8) on April 22nd against Hofstra with his eighth and ninth homers of the season
  • Became the first Husky in the modern era to hit for the cycle going 5-for-6 at UMass (single, 2 doubles, triple, homer, 6 RBI)
  • Had four outfield assists, including one on a fly-out throw-out double play at home against William & Mary in the CAA tournament
  • Started all seven postseason appearances for NU

Before Northeastern: Played four seasons with Hamden Hall Country Day School in Hamden, CT... #5 overall player, #2 shortstop in CT (PerfectGame.com)… PH Super 25 17U National Champion, tournament All-American, and tournament MVP (2021)… Played his summer ball with Norwich of the FCBL… in 28 games with the Sea Unicorns had 24 hits, 16 runs, and five RBI on a .289 batting average… recorded three doubles, a triple, and a home run… won the 2022 FCBL Home Run Derby.
 
Personal: Son of Juan and Joanne Maldonado… has one sibling, Jonathan… brother Jonathan played college soccer at Central Connecticut State… enjoys hanging with friends… Business Finance major.
