All three weekend starters finished the season in the top 35 pitchers in the NCAA in terms of ERA. Cobb's squad of hurlers also included five All-Conference selections (Jones, Cabral, Gottesman, Charlie Walker, Brett Dunham), two All-Tournament teamers (Dunham, Gottesman), and three All-Americans (Gottesman, Jones, Walker).
The Huskies entered the 2023 NCAA Tournament as an at-large bid, with the second-lowest ERA in the nation at the start of the tourney (3.57). Cobb's pitching staff contained four All-CAA pitchers (Aiven Cabral, Wyatt Scotti, Jake Gigliotti, Griffin Young) and a freshman All-American selection by NCBWA (Cabral). The staff was led by freshman Aiven Cabral, with a conference-leading 2.58 ERA in 83.2 innings pitched, with a 9-4 record.
