Omar Rouhana has worked at Northeastern since 1985, first as a student employee. He received a degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University in 1988 as well as a certificate in international business and minor in transportation.
Rouhana is currently serving a double duty in the Athletic & Recreation Department as the Associate Director for Campus Recreation for Business & Technology, as well as Director of Baseball Operations. He has been working with the baseball team at Northeastern since 2009.
Fun facts: "In 1983 I came from Lebanon to NU, prior to that baseball was not a known game to me. Growing up watching cartoons and specially Bugs Bunny, I did experience what later in 1983 became a reality to me that baseball is actually a game played in the USA and not just a cartoon. My first live game was watching the Red Sox during Senior week prior to my graduation." || Has a passion for the airline industry, and is a renowned dessert expert.
