2022:
  • Played in 60 games this season starting in 58 of them making him 2nd in the CAA in that stat 
  • Batted a (.259) batting average this season
  • Led the team in total hits (58) and was 12th in the CAA; also led the team in home runs (3) and slugging percentage (.388)
  • In the CAA, ranked 2nd in total at-bats (224), 27th in runs (33), 7th in doubles (14), 7th in triples (3), 24th in RBIs (31), 22nd in total bases (87), 20th in walks (24) and 10th in stolen bases (14)
  • Finished the season in the outfield with 104 catches and 100 putouts
  • Best hitting game of the season came against Charleston (3/26) where Costello had two doubles and batted in four runs

  • Named CAA Player of the Week after hitting .667 (8-for-12) with two homers, a double, five runs scored and five RBIs in the final regular-season series at Towson (5/20-22)
  • Went 4-for-5 with a home run, double, HBP, three runs scored and four RBIs in Northeastern's 15-2 win at Towson (5/20)
  • Went 1-for-4 with a walk, stolen base, and two runs scored in Northeastern's CAA Championship clinching win over UNC Wilmington (5/30)
2020:
  • Appeared and started in 14 of 15 games before season canceled due to Coronavirus
  • Had two runs batted in in 10-0 win over South Florida (2/22)
  • Hit a triple in 5-4 win over Saint Louis (2/29)
  • Went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in 17-7 win over Eastern Michigan (3/01)
  • Hit 2-for-3 with an run batted in and run scored in 6-1 win over Florida Atlantic (3/08)
2019:
  • Appeared and started in 54 games for the Huskies
  • Started off the year with at least one hit in his first five games (2/15 - 2/23)
  • Had at least one hit in eight straight games (3/17 - 3/30)
  • Had his only home run of the season and knocked in five runs against Delaware (March 29)
  • Had 54 hits and 32 runs on the year
  • Finished the season with the second most stolen bases on the team with 19
  • Named to the CAA All Second Team
2018:
  • Appeared in 17 games for the Huskies, starting in eight of them
  • Scored two runs and knocked in three runs against Towson (4/27)
